Indeed, the winger of the Lionnes of Senegal has forfeited, informs the Senegalese Basketball Federation (FSBB), without specifying the nature of the injury of the player.

Senegal, along with Mali and Uganda, is housed in Pool C of Afrobasket 2024, a competition scheduled for Kigali, Rwanda (28 July-6 August). The press conference of the Senegalese Basketball Federation will also be an opportunity to publish the “Expanded Roster of the Men’s National Team for Preparation” of the Pre-Olympic Qualifying Tournament (TQO) in Lagos, Nigeria, from August 12 to 20, 2024.

In this pre-tournament, Senegal will play in Pool A with Nigeria (host country), Mali and Uganda. The press conference will also focus on the publication of the list of the U25 National Women’s Team in preparation for the 2024 Games of La Francophonie in Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of Congo).
